Turn off the computer. At Power up, start taping the F8 key. Go into SAFE MODE, you will have to use the up/down arrow keys on the keyboard to navigate. Once in safe mode follow this path. Start> Run> type c:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe Hit OK. The system restore window opens. Follow the directions. Make sure you restore back in time far enough to correct the problem.

DOwnload and run spybot, i have had the problem b4. It is a spyware problem, the spyware is disabling a service, and that service cannot run again until the spyware is removed.

Also run, chkdsk /r in the command prompt window.

Go to start/run/ type in "cmd"

type into the black box, chkdsk /r and then type in y for yes

System restore will NOT remove the spyware and can actually make the problem worse.
Get spybot, run a scandisk, remove any files you dont need. and git er done
