Hey Guys, I've got a Windows XP desktop and my mom clicks on every ad (meaning virus's galore), I'm trying to do a Windows clean install. Every effort ends up with the PC shutting down halfway through..before you say it's dead, I was surfing the web on it just fine for 45 min prior. Oh, and it boots into something that resembles a BIOS screen when I turn it on (clearly I changed the boot order somehow)
Any ideas how to reinstall Windows without it shutting down? I also believe it has a virus, some free Word program, she installed that I can't uninstall, not even with Revo Uninstaller Pro
    Thanks in advance
