i just installed a new windows xp and ow my sound doesnt work i have the hp slimline s7520n i tried downloading ati drivers but the file said vista and it didnt work i have no volume control either On my previous instalation of windows i found some drivers and it worked. please help.
No pro here but go to start>control panel>administrative tools>computer management>device manager and you should see a yellow exclamation beside the driver missing. Right click on it and see if update driver from internet helps. Or Driver Detective isn't free but the trial should show what is needed and something like Driver Zone may have it. Or, the HP site itself.
