XP Repair Pro 2006 OR Registry Mechanic ?

Hello People, Which one of these programs are the better one,and why? I currently am running windows xp pro. Thanks I gotTuneup Utilities 2006

 

Registry Mechanic between those two to fix REGISTRY problems, but I also use xoftspy. it is a great program if you think that your computer is acting strange!

What are those programs for. I have not heard of them before. Im having problems getting my Mic to record. sound comes in but I cannot record. would one of those programs fix it?

This program will correct errors in your registry, errors will cause programs not to work, load incorrectly, etc. This tool would correct invalid entries in the registry.(TuneUp Utilities 2006). IM using it and I find it works for me. What program are you using to record sound with?
