For some reason, ever since I reformatted my computer, it will not update. I did not do anything different than any other time I reformat it, it just refuses to update. An icon keeps popping up saying that I have 80+ updates I need but it wont let install anything. Windows Update wont even work. Anyone else had this problem?

One thing you can do, is delete all the files/subfolders found in this folder (leave original folder intact):

    C:\Windows\Software Distribution

That will reset Windows Update's download folder.
