Xpadder bug?

    i am trying to set up some games with xpadder and i want to make it so i can configure it to my 5 button mouse(excluding scroll up and down) so i click the rench next to the diagram of the mouse and everything goes white and the prog says that nothing isnt responding, what should i do( and if i am wrong about how configure it to 5 button mouse in xpadder tell me aswell
