I am trying to watch a movie in Div X Player but keep on getting the following message Failed to open file, I know its probably related to me not having the right codec installed. I have installed quite a few codecs already but How do I know what is the right codec. The details for the movie are as follows AVI Format Audio Format - MPEG Layer-3,135 kBit/s, 48,000 Hz, Stereo Video Format - 640 x 272, 137678 Frames, 23.976 Frames/Sec, 124 KB/Sec, Unknown Format Could someone please let me know what codec to use to watch. download the XviD codec from http://www.xvid.org and get the sound codec from http://www.glasso.dk/ac3.htm and download the divx latest codec from http://www.divx.com then the movie should work fine
Thanks for the advice spike1050 Could you perhaps download the sound codec and email it to me, i am sitting behind a firewall and cannot do any downloads. Already have the other codecs installed. GBoy
