i have alot of xvid anime that have same problem. When i try to watch them, they do play but it goes like 15 fps, then 24fps. Makes it look like 2 frame then pause for 1 sec, then another few frame. I try usin overlay mixer, which fixes the problem, but the fps is like 15, compare to the file is 24 fps. So i wonder what have happen comp spec nvidia tnt2 16mb 128mb ram winxp sp1
Have you tried playin on a faster computer because sometimes the 15fps is actually 24fps with 9fps dropped because the computer cannot keep up.
