Xvid help

    Trying to make VCD, and im using TMPG and tried VitrualDub and neither work for an Xvid (shows up as .AVI), and wont play on my computer either, says has an either with the CODEC. When i try to convert this file with TMPG it says "...can not open, or unsupported" Can any1 help???

    Sounds like you need the xvid codec. Google for Koepi's XVID Binary and download the stable version. There's other XVID codecs out there but I've had good luck with Koepi's. Also if it's in XVID you may very well need the AC3 codec, again google on it. Lastly, so you can know what codecs you need on problematic movies and wether you have them get Gspot.
