Ok I have checked around for this one and cant find anything. Ok I have ripped about 3 of my movies and split they are too big to fit on a VCD (just barely.) so I was wondering if there was a way to make sort of a vcd format on a dvd-r and that way I can put all 3 movies on the same DVD? That would be more convienient so I can take them on a trip with me. Thanks for any help...

vcd movies are in .dat format. which can be converted to mpeg1 easily using vcd gear (freeware). Then you can fit three mpeg1 movies on a dvd and play them like a dvd. quality will be sacrificed because you would be using mpeg1 format, rather than mpeg2. You will need tmpeg dvd author to create menus, exc. I put the star wars trilogy on 1 dvd using mpeg1 format. had some time on my hands. hope this helps
