Ok every time i download an xvid dvdrip the playback is very jerky, i usually convert my xvids to mpeg2 dvd pal, then create audio/video ts folders so i can burn them to dvd-r's, but the playback is still very jerky on my dvd player. I've always used the klite codec pack and did'nt have problems with it in the past, now i've got people telling me not to bother with codec packs and to reformat my pc because they can mess it up, then i've got people telling me to update my codec pack. I'm totally confused, any ideas anyone?

Remove the Klite codec pack or format if u can backup your important files to storage media. Then get the xvid codec here http://www.xvid.org/ The official site.
