    i just looked up that site, changed my mind now. it doesn't play dvd-r which is the media on which i have over 100 dvds.
    it does look the business though.

    Just got one of these and there is a new firmware update on umax.de for the unit. It now plays -R and WMA audio....

    I was also looking into buying this, one question does it allow you to record in "region 0"?

    I'm a newbie to this ;-)

    i've brought one but it doesn't recognise the iso firmware file on any media i shove in it.

    i brought it from richer sounds. do they make it multi region by simply updating the firmware?

    if so, that could be my problem, but i doubt it.

    also, i can't tune it in at all. sky don't work either.

    any ideas??
