Hello, I have the Yamhama RX-V730 and need to buy some new speakers.I haven't bout speakers since about 1977 so Im lost. I know they sound different to everybody, but I'm looking for something that produces great highs and not too expensive. Any thoughts?

Speakers is the one place you shouldn't go cheap. Speakers should be 3/4 to 2/3 of the total cost of your system. Speakers are the most important part of the system, and what determines the overall sound you hear. Remember.......you get what you pay for, except with Bose. Bose is extremely over inflated prices, for mediocre speakers.

The cheapest "set" of speakers that I recommend are these:

The set includes a very good subwoofer too. Most people that's into home theater, already know that SVS makes one of the best subwoofers on the planet.
