I have the newest version of VSO DivxToDvd (v 1.99.14) but I've had this problem with previous versions. During moments on video where something passes close to the camera or there's a bright flash, explosion etc on screen I get these large yellow pixel spots. It looks really crappy and it's bugging me. Since there's very few adjustments you can make on divxtodvd I don't know what to do. Could it be my burning (Nero) or authoring (Tmpgenc) software?

    Hi there,

I am a ßeta Tester for DivxToDVD and I never had playback issues.

Do you see those spots when played on your computer ?
    (Played with PowerDVD, WinDVD player)

The original files .avi play fine on your pc ?

Once the files are converted, why would you need Tmpgenc ?
Are you joining, modifying the output of DivxToDVD ?

I use quality media and burn at 2x, 4x MAX on Taiyo Yuden.

What media do you use ? (What's the MEDIA ID ?)
What speed do you burn at !

Cheap media and burned too fast will cause playback issues !
