Yellow Tint on Hansol?

    Hey, hopefully this is correct place for this.

    I've got Hansol 730E CRT monitor. I know it's old!:D

    Anyway, I'm kinda a noob on computer scene so details would be perfect.

    Yellow tint started about couple of months ago - it would go away after about 5 minutes after PC being switched on. Now it's still here hours later after PC being on. I've tried slapping the monitor. No luck.

    It's annoying. Is it because my monitor is where the sun is at its hottest temp? This happened after my mother switched the PC by the plug. She's a noob as well! She's still in Amiga days.

    Sounds like you aren't too much more advanced than your mom. Time for a new monitor.

    Ugh. Money is very tight for me at the moment. :(

    i bet you can find a crt for free these days
    heck, i see whole computers (Pentium 3) for free all the time so its not that hard to get a hold of free hardware
