Am i the only one here thinking "oh, so he turned addict... So f****ng what?".
Is it really necessary to be so proud of something like that ?
It's not like you actually achieved something, other than prove you posted a LOT.
Wether those posts where actually usefull is another thing that i wonder about.
For all we know, there could be a 1000 one line posts in there.
And F.Y.I., i would gladly hand in my title for a junior member or member title any day, or have no title at all.
Wanna know why ? cause in the end, a title means f*ckall.
Respect comes *or rather, SHOULD come* from achievements and proving ones worth, not some cr@ppy thing under ones user name.

    @The_Feind
What is respect gained on AD anyway? What is the point in ranting abut anything? AD is where people go to get help, it is not some sort of lifestyle. Also I would like to see how many of your flaming posts are useful? And if you didn't care at all, why bother posting?
If someone wants to say "Look at my title" Let them for christs sake!

Maybe not, that but they keep it to themselves, because by putting their aggresive 2 cents in it shows that they care.

-If that was so, do you think he would bring attenetion to the fact? If that is so, do you not think the Mod's would have picked up on it? Maybe you should find some examples first.

What in the world did you gain from posting that self contradictiory argument?

And how do you know he didn't get his respect form where it "SHOULD" come?

Who said anything about being proud?
    -cheers

Ah yes, Jorahan, oh sorry, Nicht, such vivid memories i have of telling you off last time...
Let me correct your assumptions again, in equal fashion...

I like putting in my very non humble opinion, BECAUSE I CAN.
People ask for opinions or post things, and i reply.
Which is what forums are for.

As for the "1000 one line post" remark i made, that is what one would call an EXAMPLE.
I did not state this was the case, i mentioned a possibility.

I personally don't find proving that one has posted a lot an actual achievement, hence me wording it that way, i could have said "it's not like you actually make any REAL achievements by proving you post a lot", but decided to not put it such an even more hostile way, since i feel there should be some moderation in everything, even if it's just the slightest hint of it.

Also, i never stated this guy should not be respected for helping folks out, i merely wanted to point out that the respect people seem to have for titles like Senior member an AD Addcit should be questioned if titles are earned so easily.

    Also,
I did, because he seemed to take pride in earning his shiny new title...
If he wasn't proud of it, what purpose would it serve to make such a thread?

And last, but not least, to answer your first question, my "flames" are meant to question things I deem to be wrong, injust, or immoral.
They are MY way of stating an opinion, and since this is a public forum, and i have not been told otherwise, i will do that from time to time to express my concerns.

I take it this has been enough of a lesson for you today, young padawan ? If not, by all means, visit me on IRC, i'll gladly whipe the proverbial floor with your arguments.

Do we have to send you 2 to an AA meeting?

Did you read the Declaration of Unity?

Did you read the Responsibility Pledge?

We are to keep our Fellowship United!!!!!!

All members should read and go by both the Declaration of Unity and Responsibility Pledge.

We will not be United if you can not come to a common ground.

Psssst, larry, i am not part of the addict union pact, i'm part of a seperatist sect called the Learyans, who take pride in moaning about everything and everyone, if it pleases them.
So unless you join this very exclusive sect, there is no unity :-D
*in other words, me = Senior, not addict, and happy about it*
