    lol indeed:)
    .
when you formatted the card earlier, did you format it in the computer, of in the DS?
the firecard must be formatted while inside the nintendo DS.
    .
insert 'only' the firecard to the DS..
.while the card is booting, hold down 'start & select'..
..a menu will pop-up...choose 'quick format'
    .
after it is formatted, link everything up to the PC, then send the XMENU to the removable drive(firecard)...this will create the system folder next time the DS is switched on.
    then add the games.

right!! done that, and after the format it says please copy xmenu.dat to card. I tried this but it still didnt work, as i had to copy the file i had from my mac im guessing it didnt work because the file came from my mac... I will get home tonight (doing all this at work at the mo) and download a fresh copy straight to the windows computer. Do i just copy xmenu.dat and reset it then copy games or can i do it all in 1 go?

Thanks your help, your a star!

    get the latest XMENU here...
    http://www.dslinker.cn/soft/
this 2.55 latest DSLinker xmenu will work happily with your firecard.
    .
just copy it to the firecard (after unzipping it)like you would a game...it will create the system folder by itself...im sure you can do them all at once.
    any trouble, just shout.
