I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good free program for downloading from you tube? I was using vdownloader to download video's to 3gp and music to mp3 but i have now found out that the program has a trojan dropper in it. I have downloaded 3 different versions of vdownloader from here and ran them all through an online scanner i use called virustotal and all 3 files were infected with a trojan dropper also. I have also downloaded you tube downloader and scanned it with virustotal and it picked up the same trojan dropper inside that. I only know these two programs for downloading from you tube so i was hoping someone could suggest a different program. If anyone could help i would be grateful, thanks.
if you have firefox they have a couple of addons that can download from youtube. I use the addon "Easy YouTube Video Downloader". But there a couple of others.
Plus there's http://keepvid.com which is all i use personally. But i'm really here tosubscribe to the thread as any mention of the word youtube always attracts spammers to the site..
I do reconmend the V Downloader you can ontain threw this site, the youtube downloader is blocked from youtube for some reason
Thanks very much for the help. I really liked vdownloader but every one i have downloaded even from this site has this trojan inside when i scan with the online scanner. I will look into the other programs mentioned though so thanks for the information.
