Hi, in the hotel there is installed Humax2000. A very good device in my opinion, but my russian guests watch HDTV PLatforma . unbeatably cheap price for comlete set, but have to put also CI module for the smart cards of DRE Crypt conditional access system (costs 80euro). I'd like to equip every room with satelite receiver HD 9300 / GS9300
maybe you know any other anaolgues devices?

much cheaper option. you set up a central server which contains the ca module and you feed the information to all the other boxes across a network. in this way you only need one ca module instead of one per box. as such the central server requires a software cam such as cccam/oscam/mgcamd to read the card and share the card with all the client boxes. the client boxes must also be able to run he software cam and all of them must be network connected to the central server

whichever box is capable of reading the card in the ca module and retransmitting to network connected clients. the box is not normally the issue, what is the issue is the functionality the box delivers. is it what you need at the best cost

Humax is rather an old "apparatus", in the market you can find more progressive one. If not mistaken it's no more produced (for 2 yy at least, and even your russian company you 're citing do not deal with it)

can understand why the russians prefer GS, DRECrypt is very difficult to crack. they say that more than 7 mln subcscribers already use it. From cheap conditional access systems it is the safest. And additional services (TV-mail, etc.) are unrivalled. and these people do know how to save the money
