    Hey guys, what is the best way to rip audio from youtube? I am using audocity but not happy with the sound quality.

    Assuming you successfully downloaded the file,
    FLV Extract if it's an FLV, or perhaps YAMB if it's MP4.

    You are talking about youtube...

    The only reason they can post that fee stuff is the quality is terrible. If you can figure out how to put quality in you may become a billionaire. So don't expect even commercial grade (128 BR) out of an extract. When you convert anything it must be converted to a wave file then to what ever the new format is. When you decompress something like youtube @ 70 BR or less the quality the resulting temp wave file is pure garbage. Music industry keeps commercial music at 128 as best they can for the same reason. You can't make a descent copy.
