    Hi All...

I have one of those ZEN MP3 Players that I bought from Hong Kong.
It has been working fine until today when I plugged it into my laptop and when I click on the drive it says "You must format it".. this has never happened before. Anyway, I tried to format it using the defaults FAT and when I do it it says its done it and then still gives me the error when I select it again.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
I have also misplaced the disk that came with it, not sure if that woud have helped.

It is probably 'toast'. That is the error you get when a Chipod dies. I would try to get help from Zen. Hopefully it is not a knock off. When a chipod has this error you might have a 1 in a 100 chance getting it running again after a huge effort. You are living on borrowed time after that.
