zip drive mod/floppy

    ok i have an old compaq presario that i dont use and i dont have any real use for it..but it has a floppy drive and a zip drive..and i wanted to know if there is anyway i could mod them to be exterior drives on the comp i use now

    floppy drive uses a 34 pin cable & the zip drive if right uses a 40 pin cable. could use zip drive in external usb case but out of luck with floppy. better of to get an external hd or cdr or dvdr drive as holds more info

    i would like to but i dont have any money right now.
    but could you reccomend any websites or anything for a guide on making the zip drive external

    can get an internal cdr drive for about $35Can. 52x32x52
