Zippys Bioshock PC Demo review:8 out of 10 no spoilers

    Graphics:9
They are nice, the style the world is set it comes alive, water dose pour from the walls,I can't help but feel they can look a bit more crisp and smoother, this is the demo it might not have all the options of the retail game but still near prefect is pretty damn awesome (also the lil sisters seem to be altered just slightly to remove the lil girl look they had,in any case tis still a demonic kid looking thing).
Cant wait to see a game use the water system for a blood theme or a blood mod for bioshock :X

    Sound:9
The VAing is good and adds a bit of charm to it, the vocal "ticks" (can't remember the correct name,a tick or twitch is what a model dose every now and then) or banter is very nice and sets the mood.

    Music:9
It fits the theme and mood of the game, tilted to ambiance over normal music,it simply dose what few games can set a mood with music alone, add the visauls and sound and Bioshock becomes a experience.

Gameplay(Mechanics,Physics and options of the game):6
No walking to sneak around,No alt fire, no picking up items to toss at foes or distract them(without TK),other small nuances add up to a watered down experience in terms of control even the keymap options are kinda limited for such a game as this,at the least you can switch between plasmids and weapons quickly.

This game much like Dues ex 2 is heavily focused on giving its all to make a solid console game not so much to give one options and abilities found mostly in PC games, however unlike Dues ex 2 Bioshock is not so short sighted ,but the menu system for video options is a bit meek perhaps due to it being a demo despite the "apparent"watering down effect.

This game seems solid, even if you remove 2-3 points from the hype and send it down to a 6 the game is still worth being added to your collection, I am still getting the game even tho deep down, personally I will bomb it down to a 7 1/2 just because its a ported console game and not a full featured PC game.
