scubapete, you should be a bit more patient when offering your supportive advice. Im a newbie too and find this website very challanging to navigate while looking for answers. trying to ask advice and not offend, or break the rules just makes newbies even more confused. Perhaps you should let the moderators do thier job.

Perhaps you should read our rules posted at the top of every forum's opening page saying "Read First".

    Second -
you might want to rein in your attitude - Were I to report every time you broke the multi-posting rules or anything else to the Mods, you might be on the way out - Being as how you wish to bypass warnings unless they are official ones jeopardizing your time here I don't mind - just come right out and say it - I wish to be in trouble - I don't want a "heads up" from anyone -

What a dip - most would be glad to be in the game . . .

Third: Police like you are not needed.
You bucking for a mod position?
Either post some constructive help, or don't post at all.
I find your attitude offensive as well.
Go ahead, report me. If I'm breaking rules, I'm sure the MOD'S will let me know. We don't need your kind of "help".
Let the mod's do their job, and take your gestapo training elsewhere.

Actually we are - That's why we have a little button, to help the Mods -

    Always -

I did. I helped him on other threads - Did you have trouble with my links ? I could fix them -

    I care . . .

Your wish is my command - and it came to pass -

Like you would know anything about that. Besides not being able to spell it, (what has happened to our schools ?) without the blood my father spilled and pple like him, you would be wearing Jackboots - Then you would be "JackbootJim" (Heh, heh)

Talk about coming here with an attitude, - You need to learn some respect.

(I'll bet he talks to his parents like that . . . NOT ! Only behind the protection of the Internet would he dare to speak to his seniors like that else Mommy would wash his mouth with soap. (Lol). :)

Well I'm telling you!!! CHILL OUT rebootjim.

Pete's post want even directed at you. Tonebabe didn't read the rules. No Multiposting is one of them!!! And I might add it pisses us and other members off. We are all here on our free time and don't like answering the same person multiple times.

I do believe Pete's earned his addict status. Not only does he have a ton of post, but almost all are useful and helpful.

    @Tonebabe,

Read the forum rules. No Multiposting!!

    Well done.
Respect I have, for noob's who just want answers, not crap.
Your answer to my "bucking for mod" comment says it all.
Make you a deal, you stay out of my threads, and I'll stay out of yours.
The mods can decide everything, which is why they're mods.
I hope to God your fanaticism doesn't earn you any rewards.

Not bloody likely, in this lifetime or any other -

When you've been here for a couple of years and have devoloped a decent reputation we might talk - but then, Naaaahhhhh, I think not ~

BTW, so far, reputation wise, you're not off to a very good start -

A polite warning, not all in bold, without having to detail the multiple posts, would have sufficed.
I simply think he's (scubapete) a little overboard on this.
I could care less about a reputation on a bbs, and even less what you think about me personally, although you're good at snappy comebacks <grin>
    We're all here as volunteers.
Yes, tonebabe didn't obviously read the rules.
Yes, like most noob's, she's impatient, and thinks that multiple posts will get more attention.
I think a polite PM would probably have been a better idea.
I hope at the end of all this, she got the answers she needed, and didn't just wander off into the ether to another board.
