Hi, okay, newbie question.
I have a bunch of video_TS files and an empty audio_TS file after using mac the ripper. The total file size is less than 4 gigs. Do I just drag the files onto a DVD-R blank disc? Will that DVD then work in a regular DVD machine?

imgburn will handle video TS folders so use it, its freeware download here

heres a guide to use it

and yes it should playback on your dvd player fine assuming your using good blank media like Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim burning between 4x and 8x max

That's normal and nothing to worry about. The audio is with the video_ts files.

Just to avoid any confusion...just dragging the files onto a DVD-R would not work to make the DVD play in your standalone. You have to use ImgBurn as suggested.

At a second look, I see you mentioned "Mac the Ripper". I don't think ImgBurn works on Mac systems.

Here is some info you could use:

Not many freebie choices for Mac when it comes to DVD burning. Not many choices even for paid software.
