However, after I sideload apps, some of these apps cannot be added to the home screen for some unknown to me reason!

I can see the apps, but i cant add them to the home screen, any ideas? I have buy couple android to find the one who can show image in portrait mode and i have not find the way to solve my problem.

I had in a drawer for a few months and went to turn it on and nothing. No lights or text on the front panel, however the T9 logo does come up on the TV when I plug it in.
I've tried resetting it pressing the reset button and plugging in power but I cannot get to recovery mode to do a factory reset.
I've been digging, but I'm not sure what to do now. Any advice?? I reached out to the company's tech support but nothing.

In order to do that I need to know correct CPU model number or else facing the risk of bricking my device.

I used the app droidinfo and others, but I keep running into a confusing. On the device tab under 'Model' info it mentions the CPU firmware as 'rk3318_box'. While under the build fingerprint it shows 'rk3328_box'.
