I have some questions before I purchase a digital camera. Here's what I'm looking for:


--A camera under $150.
--One that is light, small and rugged, it will be used on outdoor jobsites.
--Best battery life.

In this situation, battery life is very important. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to which batteries should last longer? I really don't understand this stuff, but it seems like lithium ion might be the way to go.

WHAT Digital Camera Should i buy????

All though i cannot recommend a camera because every photographer has there favorites mine is a samsung pro 815 due to its three lcd system where you get a view finder thats a lcd the rear panel which is a nice 3.5 inch lcd and a top lcd that can be used as a box camera but enough about that.

I recently had some photos done professionally which I bought in a format that would go onto my iphone. Could anyone help me? I want to convert them into a different format so that I can print them out better as at the moment they print out in quite low definition. I have a Canon T1i DSLR and would like to shoot video of fireworks displays in my community. When I tried this last year, I could not get anything resembling a sharp focus.

I'm a lousy judge of distance so I wasn't sure how far away the fireworks were. They were in a large park and I was in the park but I didn't know how many meters/yards I was from the fireworks and, of course, the fireworks travelled a substantial...

Alright, to start things off. I am really investing my money right now on Canon's EF 135 f 2.0 lens. However, my DSLR is only the EOS 500D, also known as the rebel t1i here in north america. Anyhow, I was just curious if people have already tried mounting a 135mm f 2.0 lens on a compact dlsr like the rebel t1i? If so, what are you assessment on it. Would you recommend it?
