For a sort of explanation my cable set top records the cable signal to an internal hard drive. If it had external inputs it would do what I want. No computers are used in my recordings too much loss!!<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Hello all, I have captured some old home movies to my hard drive, and now need to clean them up (hopefully with a filter or two in virtualdub or after fx).<br />

The problem is the video has an inconsistent vertical jitter that wraps the top of the video down to the bottom about every half second to full second. I was wondering if there were any filters you guys use for virtualdub that can recognize these jittery/vertically wrapped frames and move them into place.<br />

      <content:encoded><![CDATA[Need a little advice: For several years I’ve had a Diamond Theatre 650 TV Wonder PCI Card. Up until Win8 it worked fine, though it was a little buggy in Win7. With win8, and 8.1, it will not load the drivers, doesn’t even see card when installing. If I force an install, I can get it to work, but only Nero Vision will see the card, and only very limited functions.<br />

I&#039;m archiving old digital 8 and hi 8 tapes from a digital 8 camera to a black magic intensity pro. All my VHS went through more or less fine, but most of my 8mm tapes are either dirty or just ruined because they look like this:<br />
