    @ neph it was not a thing to enflame any one I (think) I saw the mood change here and would rather have a good laugh but I respect what you have stood for here! so it is done!

    @matt72 my reply was meant in debate not arguement I am not easily offended and no harm ever came from debate but I will drop it as I see youno longer wish to be party to such things but I am in the minority that one voice can change things and if so many can move mountains. so know that your words here were not in vain as long as they were your words and not what others want you to say!

    @L8ter/ascii - i had absolutely no problem with the comment about my PC, i most certainly took it in jest and replied accordingly (whilst chuckling loudly!). I've been dialled into work for 8 hours and still have about 4 hours to go (unless my database restore goes splat in which case i'll be online ALL night) and that had me chuckling for quite a while, and will no doubt have me chuckling each time i stumble across this thread :)

    ladies ladies ladies! cant we just stop all this mess right now? "he did this, the mod did that" who the hell cares? it's over, get on with your lives. it amazes me that everyone on this thread is so good at what they do, and have the ability to go out there and really help someone, either here or at DD, and yet they waste this time debating a moot point. Since i am pretty much out of this loop, i am going to close this thread so we can all move on. I'm not closing it to avoid replies, if anyone has anything to say to me by all means please PM me aout it and we'll discuss it like adults. It just appears to me that Neph has been put in a position to where if he closes this, he'll get accused of the ever popular "come in and yell then close the thread so no one can reply", which is something i know neither of us is in the habit of doing. Hell i usually come in and yell and leave the thread open on purp se so people can have a place to come back and cry without flooding the place with useless crybaby posts!
    Sooo, fellas, once again, I'm going to close this one so we can all go smack our old ladies on the ass and maybe get lucky, or go out there and help someone. please please please let this be the end of this crap. you all know how forums work, this mess will be forgotten very quickly if we all let it.

    and even though i said i'm closing this, which i will, i'm going to leave it open for a bit to see if you guys can step up and agree this should be closed so we can get on with our lives. come on ya skurvey bastages, arrrggg, show me ya got the grapes to be a real man :)

    I wanted to leave it open in hopes that those concerned can have their last (hopefully) respectful say and (hopefully) move on to what our site is about - helping those in need :)

    I have not wanted to comment on all of this because I feel it is something that should be worked out between the parties involved, and the mods and administration have their own ways of doing things and it is not my place to question their decisions. Unfortunately after reading thread

    I do see that somehow, and without my knowing, I did become and involved party. It is upsetting to read that you have been put up as an example of linking to other forums, but have no knowledge until after the fact. If this was going to be done courtesy would have dictated that the party in question could have PM'd me to let me know. I could have then gotten my own clarification if I had contributed to any problem. I wish to say that yes I have linked out to other sites if I felt the problem could be solved by other information. I belong to a number of forums but feel like AD is home for me and I would be very upset to sign on and found my home gone. I think it is time to move on and put this behind, and just do what this forum is meant to do and that is give out good advice to those that ask for it. I apologize if I have offended anyone with my remarks, but had to get it out. Thanks to all.

    yes arnie that is two addicts (true addicts) that could have been hurt during these tribulations a lot of toes have been stepped on and I am guilty I blame it on clumsiness!

    but what ever the reason there are innocent bystandards the hardest hit being the newbs no matter which side is hurting them they are being mislead all the same.

    all the same could someone expidite the removal of uncasm's guide so as to let him not have the reminder of this experience!!

    Well, now what has come out of all of this, nothing, except the sanctimonious people, and I use that term VERY strongly, that couldn't get by there self rightousness, banned UncasM and have done a great injustice to the very forum they are suppose to be running. Give your heads a big shake people, you have just lost a wealth of knowledge and done your own members a great diservice. UncasM, will no doubt move on to better forums where his knowledge will be better appreciated and opinoins better respected. C'mon Mods, get your heads out of your ass and smell the clean air. fusk Wits.
