AMD Quad Core

I am thinking about buying a new desktop pc, i do alot of multi tasking, i herd that theres a amd quard core processor thats coming out, i was just woundering if anyone had any idea of when its going to be available?

 

I haven't heard when, but it's going to cost around $796.00 for the 2.3Ghz.

 

I dont think its going to coast that much, intel quad in lower than that.

 

the Phenom is supposed to come out in either Q3 or Q4 of this year, BUT the rumors say that it's being delayed to 2008. Who the hell knows. And it's probably going to cost about a thousand dollars when it does come out since according to AMD is a true quad core unlike intels. So you have two options- get intel "quad" core or wait until AMD releases theirs.
