Read through a few discussions on this, but none seem applicable to me.

I've got UnleashX installed as my default dash, and XBMC is installed in e:/apps. I'm trying to make XBMC the default dash now, and I've been following the steps here:

    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/376141

...unfortunately I can't locate the UnleashX "default.xbe" file. I have an "evoxdash.xbe" and an "xboxdash.xbe" in the root of C: and in E:/Backup/Mod/.

Where do I put my new default.xbe file made with the shortcut maker, that points to XBMC?

Your unleashx default.xbe should be in E\Dashboard. Just overwrite that one with the one you created.

    Don't have an E:\Dashboard.

    Here's what I have on C:

    Here's the E: drive:

I don't have a "dashboard" folder anywhere. XBMC is in the Apps folder. I am viewing hidden files in this view.

Did you install unleashX to the C drive?

I may have. Honestly, I was following some fairly vague instructions and wasn't familiar with the Xbox drives at the time. It was a nervey experience so I didn't make note... but now I can't seem to find it (though I don't know what it's supposed to look like). This was some time ago, and I recall it being an automated installer (for UnleashX).

If there was something as obvious as "Dashboard" in any of these folders, I'd tell you. Unfortunately, there's not. That's why I'm here.

Should I extract this to my C: drive?

I may have installed UnleashX to the E: drive. Most everything I do goes there (in other words, I don't think I've touched C:). What's in the Dashboard folder (other than default.xbe)? It's got to be there. I'm running UnleashX every time I boot up (or so the screen tells me).
