convert movie file to home dvd

    make sure in the project settings it is set to whatever your dvd player is NTSC/or PAL

    Sir you seem to know so I ask one last thing
    1.I have movies that were D/L'd from the net.
    2. I want to convert them to play on my home dvd
    3. Can you give me the steps to complete this action
    I know buy the software but i have the movies I did buy the software to
    try and convert and burn them, nothing is working, I sit for 5-6 hrs while it converts then it don't work when I burn them.

    just use dvd flick and make sure the project is either set to PAL or NTSC I use NTSC because im in the US

    also make sure you are using quality blank media I suggest Taiyo Yuden or Ritek Ridata you can get them at supermediastore.com

    I used dvdflick and it took 8:29:47 then I had nothing it just quit the movie I'm working with is Rush Hour i looked for the log file can't find it. any help with this?
    P.S. useing Sony DVD's

    If you still can't get dvd flick to work a lot of ppl on the forum like convertxtodvd from vsosoft, I havn't used this software instead, I have a ps2 running SMS to play XViD Files, and I also have a divx upconverting dvd player, so all I have to do is burn a movie straight to cdr or dvdr no encoding is needed

    As I said I'm a Disable Vet and don't have that kind of money I try to do the best with what i got or can get. LOL I have convertxtodvd!.

    you can get a divx dvd player for less then nero

    FAVC is also free and usually trouble free. It can use HCEnc which is a very high quality encoder or QUEnc which is a pretty fast encoder.
