I recently bought Stronghold the PC game and I used Alchol 120 to copy the cd with. And when I did this the auto run would not play. It would just pop up a send error report. I tried using clonecd but that program sucks because when you copy something it will install but when you go to play the game it says there is no disc in the drive. Is there any other programs that will fully successfully copy a computer game??

Alcohol 120% and CloneCD are two of the three best apps out there for backing up protected PC games - the other being BlindWrite.

Backing up protected PC games isn't as easy as popping in a disc and hitting the Go button. You need to use the correct settings depending on which protection you're backing up and your burner's capabilities.

Here're a couple links to give you a better idea of what's involved:

What protection are you trying to back up and what settings did you use for each app?
