Any one with a bad scrambled screen this mornin 18.7.07
do a factory reset, then autoscan the channels in
dont forget to turn EMU ON after channels are scanned in .....
freq changed slightly thats all !

 

Nice one mainamn - just acouple of quick questions. By resetting the factory default does that still keep the lastest flash update? and why didn't the software update this code change? I thought we were past all that.

 

This is Mains domain, but yes it will keep the latest firmware. The reason it didnt update was the keys did not change but the frequency shifted by 500 Hzs, therefore that created today's problem.

 

Cheers sc0user - this freq change, are we likely to see this happening often? I haven't had this problem before now.

 

Cant tell as yet first time this has happened so we will have to wait and see Main will keep you updated Im sure

 

Hi Joey ,a factory reset will only affect the things that u have changed on your box ( ie. fav's order and names etc)It wont affect any firmware Updates which u have loaded !
As scouser just said, This is a new thing it seems for all of us so we'll have to keep fingers crossed that it doesnt becomes a common thing and also that it dosent effect the autoroll.

Hiya Main, Ryan has tested a clone starview with the new 2.57 on it, and it still autorolls, (checked by pressing the default key button), after the box went through the autoscan this morning. So some good news

 

Thats great news scouser, I thought that they would autoroll but wasnt sure ! As with most things with these boxes, its all trial and error !

and the firmware loaded onto it ?
