    can anybody help me with the digivox i have , i have down loaded the file to my deks top , and unzip it , and open it , and send it to the digvox , , a box comes up on screen , saying " (fail to open the com-port) and ( last error the systom cant find the specified file) can anybody help me with this ?

    thanks a mil mainman.....i been all evening trying to fix this problem and could only scan in about 90 out of 140 channels but just got it sorted now thanks!!! Delighted I found this forum!

    Hi,

    Happened to me, most channels gone this morning! Just cleared all channels from channel edit menu and manually rescanned! Worked fine. Didn't need to turn EMU off or back on.

    mark codes havnt changed.! if you have a bad or scrambled signal you will have to factory reset the box then do a autoscan

    By the way does anybody know how to stop those "Scrambled or bad channel" interruptions that happen every now and again. Is this the loop in action. Do we just have to grin and bear it ;-)

    mine only blinks now and again for a split second!,
    how long does yours ?
    anyway its just a glitch, new software would prob sort it out but its not a big deal, ( for me anyway)

    i was trying to update firmware on digivox failed everytime from pc port not opening[ can opener wanted ] getting pissed of now.tried 2nd pc [ just out of retirement ] and works ,downloads to boxes.
    on doing a box to box transfer i notice slave switches off after code data, switch back on then chanel data.
    is that normal???

    i photocopyied that info 10 days ago very handy thanks,secondly port problem with pc that why not work. thirdly box to box transfer slave switches off after code transfer odd,starviews dont!

    hi it was 200 original and needed to update to 2500 my first pc broken. second pc updated box ok
    on doing transfer from master to slave of codes, slave goes off have to switch back on to finish transfer of chanel data and i wondered why as starviews dont switch off???
    just checked v02 2500bk

    u have the latest version ( v2500) on your box.

    prob a small glitch with the box.
    its not a major problem so i wouldnt bother too much !
