am hoping i am in the right place. Need some help burning a DVD. I downloaded a movie from the internet and I got a lot of files with no extension. One has a sfv extension the rest are for example: xpdvd-bi2-ntsc-dvdr.001 there are 93 of these files all 47.6 mb in size. i really don't know what to do with them they won't open in anything I have. I would like to burn them to a DVD to play on my stand alone dvd player. What softaware do I need to burn or convert these files so they are viewable? I need help please.

Those are probably rar files that need extracting, see here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/207335 A good, free encoder is DIVXtoDVD, if you like it you can buy the newer version, ConvertXtoDVD, but the trial will put a watermark in your video: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm BTW, if you haven't installed any codecs, you probably won't be able to view or burn the extracted video. The Kazza Lite Full codec pack installs all you need if you haven't: http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/mirror.htm
