The last two or three dvd's I've tried to do I could it all with dvd shrink until it got to the nero part then it say's Burn Error dvd file reallocation failed does anyone know whats going on?Why it this Happening ?????
Hi kwiksilve More than likely the copy protection is the reason for your error. Shrink can't handle the newer copy protection so give it some help. Use RipIt4Me -all free and uses Shrink too. Here's a step by step guide w/ links to download - guide Or rip 1st w/ DVDFab Decrypter (free) then open those files in Shrink. link
Still having trouble with GridIron Gang .DVD Shrink does it's job well, encodes the movie and everything but when it finishes and is supposed to start burning with Nero. I get this Burn-Error message that says DVD file reallocation failed . But I put The Guardian in and had no problems ,so whats up?
Gridiron Gang is a Sony picture, and more than likely has some ARccOS protection on it, why don't you try what Binkie states and that is rip it first with DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me. There is something on the file Nero does not like. Just because one DVD has no problems does not mean all will be problem free. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/360110
Hey arniebear Nice to see you posting again! Yep Gridiron Gang has Sony ARccOS on it plus a few bad sectors etc. You'll need to use something more than Shrink on this one.
