I am archiving data to DVD. I have burned two successfully and the third one BURNED successfully (using Toast 6). But failed during verification. This is the error message: "section (or sector?) 16 is unreadable. Verification Failed." Now the DVD will not mount.

I tried burning another DVD-R this morning thinking the DVD was bad, but once again I got the same message.

The DVD-R burner is the internal burner on my Mac Superdrive. I believe the firmware is current. I have burned 2 DVD-R successfully. If some of the information I am trying to burn is corrupt, how do I isolate the problem without going through 25 DVD'S?

I am running a Macintosh G4, OS 10.3, Dual 1 Ghz, with Superdrive. The DVD's I am using are Memorex DVD-R.

    Thanks for any help!
