DVD ReWriter SuperMulti

    Hey can anyone tell me does DVD ReWriter SuperMulti burns double layer dvds or not, isit dual layer or something else. I just brought a laptop which has this dvd writer, i dont know what it means and do can some one please tell me about it thankyou bye.

    welcome to Afterdawn..... you'll need more than DVD Rewriter SuperMulti to find out what your burner can do. this is not a real name for your burner.... to find out what your burner's make and model # is you can look it up here:

    right click on MY COMPUTER/PROPERTIES/HARDWARE TAB/DEVICE MANAGER/ then hit DVD/CD-ROM DRIVES (the plus sign)..... there you will find your make and model # ..... let us know and we can look it up to see what your drive is capable of.

    "Super Multi" is a name used by LG for their newer burners that will burn to DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD±R DL, DVD-RAM and create LightScribe labels . .

    I'm not 100% sure that this is your burner . . but if it is identified as such, I'm 99.9% there

    Yeh its says MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-841S (device type:DVD/CD-ROM drives)(Manufacturers: Standard CD-ROM drives)(location: Location 0 (0) and QM5982N UMC874F SCSI CDROM DEVICE
