I'm currently using MacTheRipper and I was wondering how I would go about ripping a DVD and then burning it on a CD-R on my ibook. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks ;)

Rip the movie as a progressive stream using OSEx (you will get a big vob file).

Now using ffmpegX re-encode the big vob file using the SVCD or VCD quick presets.

Depending on the quick presets you have chosen you will get either a XA .img image or a .bin/.cue file. Either way use Toast to burn.
