Hi. I bought the Eurovox EX5000 PVR and I have tried unsuccessfully to set this up on my basic NTHell. After following the instructions I have got the 'No Transponder to Scan' message. Can you help me overcome this please? The box was accompanied by a note instructing me to download software to my pc and install it on the box. However, I have been unable to do this as I cannot synchronise my pc and the box. Is this the source of my problem and if so, how do I overcome this. I have tried using a null modem connected to a USB serial convertor - without any success.
Thanks for that topcat96. It has taken me some time to progress this but I'm getting there slowly! I have followed all the instructions and got the necessary connections etc. However in the User Installation screen the Quality stream read (in green) has only registered 79% - 80% and will not progress any further. On pressing the red button, it tells me - No Transponder to Scan. Nothing else I do seems to have any positive effect. Any idea how I progress from here? Thanks in advance.
Have you managed to flash the box or not, Press Menu, Config, System info, What does it say in there.
