Have you configured your port settings in Com/Ports properties as explained on page 1.

What OP system do you operate on your PC, is it Vista, it would be helpful to others if you could identify the problem with your PC that would not let you flash, whether it be OP system or any antivirus ware etc.

Wondered If anyone can help me. Iam from the Glasgow area and I was having prolems with the EPG. As the clocks went back last week, the time on the Eurovox was an hour ahead, but by going to tv settings to change the time, the correct time never stayed the same. So thinking I was so smart, I scanned the channels thinking It would solve my problem. Well It did, but most of the channels are missing, saying No signal. I just flashed my box again using the same fireware as a few months ago (http://www.mediafire.com/?6xfjjdnmzge/), but didnt work. Really wish I hadnt done a power scan as my channels were there. Usually clued up on these type of problems but I have came to a brick wall and wondered if anyone else is having the same problem and could point me in the right direction. Thanks.

al the firmware you need is in eamos library under my pic,try using the one you previously used(as you havn't stated what eurovox you have),make sure you scan using the right symbol rate for your area,as for the time try this courtesy of sc0ucer 1. Unplug EV then plug it back in.
    2. Turn on and immediately press menu.
    3. Go to config, then time settings.
    4. Set correct time using GMT setting.
    5. Turn GMT off.
    7. Press blue button to save and exit.

Note if you unplug EV again you will have to do above again, so leave in standby at night

Evening karl, Don't mind if I just come in there a sec. there is no need to do that in the UK, all you need to do is go to Time Settings and put GMT-0 with arrow key > < blue button to save and exit, then Update Channels in User Installation to get the EPG sorted straight after. Do the same come next March GMT-1 and ditto.

Hope you don't mind me adding my bit: All I did was go to Time settings, changed to GMT-0, and saved/exited; I didn't do Channel update, etc, and the EPG was fine; Also I had a power failure for 8 hours in my area 2 nights ago, and the EV settings were all preserved on restarting.
