lenny don't know what your trying to say' Steve said he is on CHO**S and according to other sources the fix had a mistake and did'nt work for cho**s so it is a waiting game and to continue inputting codes manualy

Tried this firmware dated 10/04/08 this weekend, nice new features but when they rolled them during the game today my box went off, so its not working for me. "come on the pool"

Some one in the pub said their mate got some firmware that worrked for him????

yeah but what codes, wev'e given him all the codes available and it still doesnt work, yet other chor*s users have got theirs working so it's not that simple, something has gone wrong on stevies box and we dont know what it is

I'm having a weird problem after upgrading the firmware to the latest version. The firmware all loaded on fine, but I can't seem to find any channels. The signal strength is listed as very low (around 8%) and an Auto Install or manual scan both on symbol rate 6887 and frequencies 200MHz - 500MHz throw up no results. I see bardcom is having the same problem in this thread, so I guess I'm not the only one.

Anyone know what I can do?

I think we are all getting tired,..the reason I tried to clarify things is that people form country areas with CH**US true MMDS with the antenna system are jumping in saying the have the codes working in cork,limerick etc,etc,...thats was only confusing things as steve does not have the antenna system so their solutions were never going to work for him, the guy must be half mad by now.

I've the same problem as surf-dude, my cable provider is NTHell

So far, I've flashed 3 times, and to no avail. I've reloaded the older software that was on it before - and it's also now not working. (!!!) Really hoping someone knows something....

This 8% lark only seems to happen after a firmware update so i'de say you updated with a corrupt or wrong file, everybody else who's box worked after an update did'nt experience this issue. download the correct file and try updating again.....

i didnt put in the new firmware as was told by loads it wasnt working still manually putting in the codes im in limerick on ch**us

 

Have you tried uploading a channel dump and see if that works ?

 

Hi celtic how are you yea codes are working but some of the cho**s peeps have downloaded the fix and according to ferg its not working for CHO**s can you confirm I don't know of any other CHO**S codes

Are you aware of any other firmware upgrades for the EV dated after the 10/04/08 as the one I flashed works great with codes but stops when they roll them???

we need someone on Chor*s now to tell us that they have their box working cos we gave stevie the codes from earlier but he said they did't work for him. anyway I think he's gone to bed the poor fecker, he was online for 6hrs or more trying to get his box working after he flashed it, I think he has a more serious problem than just the correct codes
