Eurovox Max problem

    ah you see I'm a soft touch my hubbie keeps telling me I should charge but I just feel sorry for People who can't help themselves with anything, I do have people ringing me for everthing and anything I just can't say NO, not only code changes but anything! ah WELL

    Hacker71, I have flashed blue red & black max many times over the last few days with the firmware in the link below & all updated everytime since including to day,...try again & flash a current ,cdf channel file as well after you load the fix.

    Girl after my own heart,I was just listenig to "Love plus One-Haircut 100" on my I-pod, I have it on while im on this forum, Nothing like the 80's......I was at the Duran Duran Concert and Madness concert.. fecking unbelievable

    PM me with your e-mail & I'll send it to you, I can only vouch for the red box's as I didn't flash any other kind but i've done 46 red boxes which all work and update automatically

    Hi there dunno if anyone can help. Our starview box now refuses to accept the new codes - we input the codes and when we go to store, the ok/store characters blurr into each other, and the new code is not stored. Any soloution or time for a replacement box? Thanks

    Good Morning All, Sleep well :)
    i didnt, i'll have another evening banging my head against the Eurovox :)

    But im determined to get it working, iv'e printed out quite a few threads, from Anto and Robocab so im going to work with this information tonight to see what happenes.

    Actually LENNY1232 if your on this morning,


    You said in an earlier thread that you updated a few Eurovox with the new frmware and u didnt have any problems, Was this on NTHELL or Ch&rus.

    Not a lot of people on Ch&rus are aware that the new FRMWARE with the Autoroll only works on NTHELL.

    An Awful pity it doesnt say this in the README eh !! :)

    I don't think im doomed yet lads after putting the new software on
    as i still get Please Wait updating Codes,
    its not as if im getting a series error message on the screen,

    although i lost all my previous channels and the order i had them in
    i have it saved on my desktop as a CDF file.

    I pray to God that this works for me this evening..!!
    I'll be on from 7pm onwards

    steve, I did mention yesterday evening that the eurovox fix did not work in ch**us cable areas but in the frenzy it was over looked by everyone, the eurovox auto scans in a way which does not suit the ch**us cable freq's, as a result it misses many if not all the channels during an autoscan & as you stated fergusb setup the box for you initially so he would have scanned in the freq's manually, is this the channel files you saved to you PC ?,..you also compounded the problems by
    1...loading the fix firmware ( not knowing it didn’t work for Ch**us)
    2...doing an autoscan (also not knowing you need to manually scan the freq's)
    3...then trying to input various codes in a box that was basically messed up to begin with.
    For now I think you should go back & flash the box with the firmware you had before you flashed the fix,..then load the channel file you saved to your PC,..Hopefully then you can revert to putting in the keys manually whilst waiting for a firmware fix to emerge for Ch**us.
