Eurovox Max problem

hi, i too have the same problem. i bought a eurovox max 2008(black colour box) in december 07. it now only shows me channels bbc1-channel5. it came plug and play as i am useless with computers and techy stuff. when i go to watch a channel eg mtv which i used to be able to watch, it now says please wait code being updated. i am with Virgin, i used to have two boxes now only have one and my eurovox. tried suing the box with both cables for the virgin box. still saying the same thing.

I live in Edinburgh if this males a difference.

please help.

Hi mate. try to download the new firm ware which is kuro 3, and the release date is 18.04.08. Hopefully that will sort out your problem.

hi all

just a quick question does the latest firmware for eurovox max v 2008 dated 24/04/08 which fixes the 8% signal fault also include all the AU features/fixes at firmware 18/04/08. the main reason i am considering updaed is that i have the 8% red bar showing when doing powerscan although it does pick up most channels some channels have poor picture quality and i was hoping this may help solve it but i dont want to go back to manually inserting keys. thanks fot helping and info appreciated.

It can be used by anyone but it is recommended to generally use the previous images that contain the Signal Boost option.

An option has also been added to turn AutoSort ON/Off in the Powerscan menu.

as celt said havnt heard any one else with a problem with clones on the black eurovox max v 2008 are you sure this is the box you flashed?

 

sorry for all the posts, but this is the first eurovox i have flashed. it is black in colour, i presume this means it is black, and red and blue are red and blue in colour or is there another way to tell???

any help much appreciated

 

no bother no the blue came i blue box and the red came in a red box the black is all black with | + buttons on the front silver, the red and blue are black and silver to tell wether you have a blue or red the blue measures 12 nothches where the tuner is rf in, the red measures 8 notches,look in here to see if you have a clone http://www.4shared.com/account/file/31455141/f042cd3/EUROVOX_clones.html
