your welcome, dont forget to make sure your scanning the right symbol rate for your provider

is there an epg fix for an sv 1 first gen box or an sv 3 super plz if so whats it called, looked on eamo's but dunno what am looking for

read elsewhere on here that the sv epg is shite ne way, but jus thought i'd seen a fix somewhere was all

oh crap sorry lol, thats my fault for not reading the post properly heh

 

Guys i had the 8% problem but fixed it courtesy of Scouser, but now i dont have all the channels , my freq starts at 291mhz and ends at 419mhz rather than 459mhz as on other boxes, so not getting any chans on 459mzh.. It's not a major poblem as it's my Dad's box and he's not fussy but all the same i'm still curious as to why so..

 

you can change what freq's it scans when you power scan
mine is set at 100.00 - 870.00 a think

guess its getting difficult for getting codes etc
Here is a simple way for codes and firmware for all boxes
*removed* and a lot of extra stuff is all on there an codes
works for me

Nedser i fixed a eurovox last week and only got 12 of the 13 transponders which means i only picked up 126 instead of 139 approx channels i deleted the channel data and then uploaded a channel dump from eamos library for my area and got the missing channels might help.

You can add in an extra transponder as follows:

MENU---USER INSTALLATION---GREEN KEY(Ch EDIT)---RED KEY(Add)---INFO KEY(Edit Name)

Name the channel 0014 for example to add it after 0013 ---OK--

write in the frequency.for example 4xx.000 MHz

write in the mbaud.for example 6887.

write in the modulation type.for example QAM64.

OK to save.

Go back to USER INSTALLATION.

Highlight the new transponder--Press OK and a tick appears at 0014.

BLUE Key to Manually Scan and find new channels.

jus sometimes i do a box and all is well, but some boxes that are the same require a chanel reset and a factory reset....

i do a few but i am by no means the best....
there are far more expeienced people on here.

ANDY if it helps just one person its a great help, were all the same and the little bit i know i learned here. (by the way the epg is shite on the sv1 i find it a lot better on the sv3)
