Eurovox Max problem

BEFORE YOU PUT THIS NEW FIRMWARE ON TAKE A CHANNEL DUMP OFF YOUR BOX FIRST SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM WITH THE TP AFTER YOU UPDATE THE BOX WITH ALL THE NEW RELEASED FIRMWARE FOR THE EURO BOXES

There seems to be a time (GMT+)issue with the EPG on the update for the EV...have you experienced this. Some of the EPG is missing.
I have posted a question on this but got no answer and PM'd a member but still no response.

 

Most of the EPG do not work properly in Ireland as there is corrupt date been pushed down the line which causes big problems for the Starview what i tell people is use a weekly paper rather then using the EPG it was not really meant to work and if it does it is a bonus

Did you try fixing the time on the box that should correct the epg if it works

But as i aid i dont use it myself as it just causes prob for the box with data collision

 

Yeah the Starview is desperate, but my eurovox was perfect on the old firmware, this update on the EV seems to be not so good.
I set the time on the eurovox and saved it, then I set the GMT to +1. It works some of the time, other times it shows a blank on-screen and when checked on the internal EPG. off program, it may show it there or as in the case last night showed a different thing altogether.

I guess a newspaper is in order.

Nice EPG lol... Sometimes new firmware seems to mess things up like epg, and when a newer version comes available it's fixed. Setting my time only seems to work until I restart the box itself.. hmm

Hey down loaded the new firmware for friends and worked perfectly on my tv!! but then went to put it on there tv and they were only gettin 6 freq instead instead of 13.does any one no how i can get the 13 or any help at all to get all the channels..Ch***s kildare eurovox 2008

i have the file, what do i do now, do i re-connect the box to the computer. do i hav to re-flash it?

 

if the file is on your computer just open the eurovox loader and browse for the channel file then download it on to your box as if you were downloading firmware

 

no you dont need to reflash it ... ive done a good few boxes and ive never needed a channel dump for the eurovox it seems to scan easy and fast sometimes it might need a couple of scans to pick up the 13 tp`s ... did you do a power scan start 290.000 stop 403.000 on symbol 6887 yeah .. well try the channel dump for now
