Eurovox Max problem

I did send him a cdf file plus firmware but you know yourself they dont come back to tell ya and still no news from celtic and martin is back he is now there as well

I've tried updating my 2008 model box with the new software. i am using the R232 cable (9 pin to usb) but it keeps saying that it is not detecting the box. the problem I have is that the channels are scrammbled and freezing.

any ideas guys? am i using the right cable?

First, are you sure that the cable you are using is a "Null Modem" cable? A standard RS232 will not do.

Next, have you installed the software drivers for your 9 pin to USB adapter?

Check in the "Device Manager" on your PC to see that it is there & is reporting no problems.

Have you chosen the correct COM port in the software you are using to communicate with the Eurovox?

i'm not using a null modem but i was told that this r232 cable should work.

my comp isnt showing any problems with the software for the usb.

 

Null Modem it has to be I'm afraid.

Cheers Karl Have you tried this one as it is the latest release 24/10/07 and it now gives you widescreen and an onboard booster. It works as I have had numerous reports back and have tried it myself

Not a mistake Karl as it is Beta so you are quite right. I see you tried it also and liked it

 

posting all over the place here, yeah love it this box just keeps getting better and better, my mate out in santry is having no joy with lfc tv doing his head in ,maybe this will sort him out,any way home banker tomorrow?

keep the fate sc0ucer the reds will always suprise us when we least expect it,he,s on n.l took the box off him twice and tuned lfc for him but when he brought it home no signal

 

Dont think so Karl Yep looks like your friend has a signal problem alright and this should sort it for him. I have gave this out on a number of different forums and all reports have come back positive, including people in weak signal areas now been able to pick up more channels both here and in the UK.
