a channle update scan? wheres that, i found auto scan, manual scan and power scan, but no channle update.

75% signal is not very good. The 2008 Eurovox has a signal booster which is set to off on the factory settings, play about with your settings and turn signal booster on.

 

can any 1 help ive got a eurovox max v and for a week now my signal has dropped from 70 to 8 and some of my channels have gone all pixely but if i turn it off bye the wall and turn it on again the signal goes up for about 5 mins then back down again

 

First things first why do you feel the need to post 3 times plus start 2 new threads? your question will be answered eventually you, will be ignored in futher as this is very annoying for the members and also the mods will get on to you,now lecture over have a look in here i think your box will have to be returned to your supplier

Same place you go to do a power scan, but you press the red button instead, it's called 'channel update scan' top option.

Having trouble reflashing my eurovix 2008 which is permanently stuck on standby. Got the null modem and a usb to rs232 cable. Hooked everything up with the guide i found on this thread but my computer cant find the device/eurovix. Checked all cables, rebooted, tried with power on and off eurovix but no luck. Any ideas ????

 

Did you download firmware/software from eamo's library??
If you have already done that,press start on the bottom left of your screen, a box should appear,click 'run' and then 'browse'.
Select the firmware 'kuro beta 2' from where ever you saved it eg.My Documents.
Double click Kuro beta and then select UFL.
A box should appear.When your Eurovox is connected click download.
Make sure your box is not a clone(check back thru forum for more info)as you will need different software.

If your using a usb serial converter you may need to install this device on your pc/laptop.

 

having a recurring problem [insert smart card]keeps popping up on my tv screen and picture freezes for hours ,have reflashed ,pulled the plug ,still the same any ideas

 

sometimes when the codes change depending what channel you have on that message comes up,change the channel to a premium channel ie sly premier and wait for the box to update.

 

hey guys can anyone help my epg is wrong now cos of the hour change! the
epg gives the programs an hour late! please help!

 

go to menu config time setting select time zone ie gmt1 go back up to gmt usage make sure its set to on press the blue button to save and exit

 

When you plug the box out,your bk to square one.Anyway to sort time problem out for good?

 

no you need to leave the box plugged in,are you in the uk orIreland?

Its a problem with the box over here it'll only work if you leave it plugged in,otherwise you have to repeat the same process everytime you plug it in.

ok im now officially sick of the eurovox, its updating of the codes is ridiculous, just flashed it with the new firmware and was delighted to see a fast install only to be kicked in the teeth with the exact same time as the old version, now waiting 20 mins since the codes were changed, have plugged it out, emu is on, also turned on the new signal booster option. starview, im comin back to ya hun

 

hi i have just lost my station when i put it on sky sports to update quicker its not working its gone over an hour now.its just saying please wait code being updated im on eurovox max is there anything i can do cheers

 

just plugged in starview the box and it came on in 15 seconds
