Could be a number of problems, tuner or C14 capacitor on its way out. You could try to reflash it with the latest firmware which is one revision above yours and see if that helps or just send it back for a replacement as it is still under warranty as you bought it less than a year ago. BTW its a Eurovox Max V that you have.

Sorry I am leaving soon off to watch the match, I will be here for the next ten minutes or so if you need more info.

Well lads picked up a box's for a few friend's and while tuning them in a came we across my 13th TP that I could'nt find at home in my house. Was hoping not to have to bother to change the splitter in the attic but looks like I may as in my house TP 323.000Mhz comes in very blocky due to this I'd say.

Anyway I've added to the list above.

    scOuser,it says the following onthesysteminfo.

    Model-Dubxc box v TDA
    s/w 1.0 stc4 oct 29 2009
    h/wver 2.0 tks
    Bootstrap v001
    s/w build kvro

Its a box v that i have, i tried a couple of power scans earlier this evening, found all the chanels no prob, its just that they keep breaking up when i go to view,(something that might happen to my marriage if i dont get it sorted). They are ok for a few mins then the screen starts to freese up and i get no signal / code being updatedon the screen, I got this box from a friend of a friend so have no comeback.

    Enjoy the game.

Bought 3 eurovox for friends in january.1 of them was giving the same symptoms as your box.The supplier replaced the box and said
that they had other complaints recently with signal fluctuating
between 87% to as low as 10%.He also said he was on to the manufacturers and hoped the issue was now resolved.

Sounds like a cable problem, either signal is too weak or too strong. Press info twice on problem channels and post back what it says for signal level/quality.

Yep he done it again :)

Regards your box it definitely sounds like a tuner problem or maybe the C14 cap on its way out. As your direct feed seems fine.

Have a look here at an earlier post I made regarding the C14:

    Eurovox C14 Cap picture http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/602320#3700259

    Worth a look at least.

Or you could try updating firmware to Kuro Beta 2 you have Beta 1 at the moment. But as said yesterday it may have to go back to your supplier, although I think you said you got it in the pub, so may find it hard getting a replacement.

Have a look at Eamos FTA Library at the end of my post. You will find all you need there, guides, firmware, etc.

But you will need a cable/cables.

You will need a null modem cable DB9F to DB9F.

    Null modem info

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=L71BT&DOY=2m6

If your pc does not have a serial port you will need a USB to serial port adapter to use in conjunction with the null modem cable.

    USB Adapter info

    http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx...uName=USB to Serial 9-Pin Male Adaptor class=

These two cable links are only for reference as they can be purchased a lot cheaper on fleabay.
